My first Photoshoot!

Hi all,

Welcome to my blog! I am Laura, 31 (for my sins) and a part-time hairdresser in my spare time, which mainly consists of weekends and evenings.
I wanted to start my own little blog to show off my hair styling creations and to basically build up a internet portfolio. So here it is! Hopefully I will be able to help some of you with hair issues or just show you how to achieve certain styles, or if all else fails just look at the pictures (that is what I normally do).

This first post is about my first photo shoot, very exciting stuff let me tell you. My friend for many years Anna was finishing her make up course and asked me if I would come along to one of her sessions and style the model's hair for her make up shoot.

The theme was bridal but with a twist, so after discussing it with Anna I created a modern 1920's hair style with some gorgeous ornamentation which was kindly lent to us by a bridal shop in Didsbury (I really must remember the name).

We had a fantastic model to work with called Tabatha, who had luscious thick hair, so I was really lucky!
